Question: What is the Turn2® Turning Aid™?
Answer: The Turn2® Turning Aid™ is a disposable patient positioning aid designed to enhance quality of care while at the same time reducing risk of injury to both patients and caregivers. It is ideal for use in performing a variety of personal care related tasks and can be quickly and easily implemented in a variety of care settings including hospitals, long-term care environments, home care, hospice and emergency care settings.

How does the Turn2® Turning Aid™
work? Answer: The Turn2® Turning Aid™
features a unique strapping system with “easy on, easy off” hook
and loop closure material that secures directly to the patient’s
bed. In four easy steps, caregivers can quickly and easily turn
and reposition patients, change clothing and bedding, bathe

Answer: YES. The Turn2® Turning Aid™
has been FDA registered and designated as a Class One device.

What is the Turn2®
Turning Aid™ made of? Answer: The lightweight,
blue-colored fabric used to make the body of the Turn2®
Turning Aid™ is constructed from a specialized DuPont®
material made of polyethylene/polyester. Although intended as a
single-use product, the Turn2® Turning Aid™ is
highly durable and designed for use on patients of varying
weights and sizes. The strapping system which features hook and
loop closure material is made of 100% polyester.

Question: Can a single caregiver working alone turn and secure a patient using the
Turn2® Turning Aid™?
Answer: YES...the unique design of the Turn2® Turning Aid™ makes it possible for a single caregiver to perform a variety of personal care related tasks usually requiring the assistance of two. Factors such as patient size and weight must be considered, however, when determining the most appropriate method of use.

Question: Will the Turn2® Turning Aid™ help to reduce caregiver and patient injuries?
Answer: When used as directed, the Turn2® Turning Aid™ may be an effective tool in reducing the risk of injury to caregivers and patients. It may also help reduce costly worker’s compensation claims and lost work days associated with back injuries, musculoskeletal disorders (MDSs) and repetitive strain injuries (RSIs).

Question: How much weight can the Turn2® Turning Aid™ support?
Answer: The Turn2® Turning Aid™ comes in two sizes: 15”x35” and 30”x40”. The 15”x35” model is designed for use with average size patients weighing up to 250 lbs. The 30”x40” model is designed for use on larger size or overweight patients weighing up to 350 lbs.
